What is a target Community?

While our desire is to see every town, city and village in our district be home to a thriving church, we understand, that goal is a lofty one. 

We are striving to achieve that with a two pronged approach. 

First we want to encourage everyone to reach the NEXT TOWNS, those communities that boarder our already churched communities.

Second we want to target areas that have the deepest need based on size and location. We have chosen two communities in each state that rank in the top ten in population for that state, and that are at least a half hour away from an established church.

We know that the average unchurched person, only wants to drive to church approximately as far as they would to a grocery store. So why would we expect people to come to us from so far away.

We pray that some willing vessels would accept the call to move into these communities with the desire to plant new works, and reap the harvest of hungry souls that awaits them.
